It's Been a While...

Well, helloooooooo!!! It's me! (I hope you all got that joke) Anyway, I hope you are all well. I have discovered that I am not very good at having a blog. I guess that happens when you get a job and have to go to school, plus balance a social life on top of all of that. Ugh! Being a grown up is so hard!

Well, I have just finished up my second semester of nursing clinicals and am currently waiting until fall for third semester to start up. So right now I am trying to work as many hours as I possibly can to make money for school, but more importantly for the road trip I am going to be taking this summer. Hopefully, I will be able to blog more and share that with all of you. It is going to be such a great time! We will talk more about that later. Something that is happening this week is my lovely Miss Trina is going to be visiting me!!! Actually, she will be here in 2 days! Can you believe it?!?! I haven't seen her in a year! It is going to be so great!! Yay!! She has never come to see me before so this will be a new and exciting experience! I can't wait to show her my home! :)

The Life...

Well, hello there everyone! Or no one... That's ok... My posts haven't been very exciting, and I haven't advertised them at all either. So I wouldn't be surprised if no one even knew this blog existed! Haha Anyway, it has been a really long time since my last post, so I figured it was about time to post again!

Well, school is finally finished for the summer, actually indefinitely for me... Gotta wait for clinicals. :/ But that's ok I was so ready for a break! Wasn't my greatest semester, but, hey! That's life! :) This summer is filled with all sorts of new things that are gonna be happening for me!

Well, first off, I am going to Colorado and California for a vacation!!!!! Yay!!!! A couple of weddings that I will be attending. Pretty excited to get away from home and travel again! It has been way too long since my trip to New Zealand! Here's a link to the blog my friend and I wrote while we were there! I get bored when I stay in one place for too long! So I have been looking on Pinterest for things to do while I am in Denver, because I will be there for about a week. I found a couple of really great pins. But I really wanted to do things that the locals would do, well, kind of. More of what they want to do but never get around to doing. Ya know what I mean? ;) Haha well, I found some really great farmer's markets and some festivals here. Also, what's a trip to Denver without going to Casa Bonita?? And last but not least, I found a really great family fun thing to do Here... Its like a giant slide! How fun is that?!!? Pretty excited to do all of these things!!! There will definitely be pictures of all the fun things that we will do! :)

O and before I go... I just wanted to add a photo of me! In case there really is anyone reading this and was curious about me! :) Haha Well, its not a great one... I'm getting ready to go to work so... Maybe a better one later! Bye!!!! :)

All year indoor flower bulbs project

Well, I have so many projects on Pinterest that I want to do and today happened to be a day that I worked on one. This one involves growing flowers indoors any time of the year, with no soil. Here  is the link the pin that I copied on Pinterest.

I went to Michael's and bought a square vase to plant some bulbs in, $4.99, and the perfect size!

I used these glass beads, I'm not sure what color the flowers will be so I just chose this green. 

I used these bulbs that I found at Aldi's, lilies, I couldn't find any tulips, although thats what was used in the pin on Pinterest. I think they were $2.99, or something like that, for about 6 bulbs.

This is the final result. I put my bulbs in the only window that gets sun. Hopefully they bloom, I will post more pictures once they do. 

Hello!!

Well, I am very new at this. I have only done one other blog before and that was when my friend, Trina, and I went to New Zealand. There and Back Again is our story at foreignfarmernz.blogspot.com, if anyone is interested in reading about our adventures.

I am currently back in the states, going to school for nursing, working as a CNA at a nursing home and cleaning the church that I attend. I was reading some blogs from Pinterest and had the brilliant idea to start my own. I have no idea if anyone will actually read this or not, but hey its fun anyway! :)

So I guess right now, I am just finishing up my last semester before starting clinicals, and ready for an event filled summer. I have two trips planned and can't wait to see friends and spend time outdoors. I will be posting most/all of my adventures, so this will be kind of a journal for me. I will just be posting whatever happens to be on my mind at the time! :) This blog is to help keep me on track and to keep me active. If anyone reads this I hope you enjoy and I would love to hear from you.
